We are ideally situated within a five minute stroll of Ambleside village and Lake Windermere, so you can walk the fells, cruise the lake, tour the historic and cultural sights or just sit and enjoy the wonderful scenery from your private patio.

Woodside Cottage is a smoke and pet free area. There is parking for one car on the hotel car park.

This ground floor apartment has been recently converted in March 2006, we have retained the original oak beams and 19^th Century rear door and for those of you who are rather tall the actual height of the ceiling in the lounge, kitchen diner is 6’6”, but there is no restriction anywhere else.

The cottage is all on one floor with just four internal steps leading to the bedrooms and sleeps a maximum of 4 people.
